Chartres – “the city of lights and perfumes” located one hour’s drive from Paris, famous for its cathedral that has been enlisted by UNESCO as one of World Heritage Sites. Chartres citybooks project will commence by the end of 2011. The resident authors in Chartres are: Flemish writers Bart Van Loo and Chris Van Camp and a young Dutch writer Jeroen Van Rooij. They will be joined by two authors from other citybooks participants. Marcin Wroński lives and works in Lublin and Goce Smilevski wrote a citybook in his hometown Skopje, the capital city of Macedonia.
