Witold Szabłowski – young journalist and writer. While working for CNN Türk he established a strong bond with Turkey, which resulted in a series of reportages followed by a well received literary debut “Zabójca z miasta moreli”, a book that won him several awards, Amnesty International honourable mention and the Melchior 2007 among others. In 2010 he received the Prize for Journalism from the European Parliament for his reportage “Today Two Bodies Will Wash Ashore”. At the moment he is working on his new project and is preoccupied by the world of absurd of the Polish People’s Republic. He lives in Warsaw, continues to travel.
